What is a Cash Disbursement versus an Accounts Payable (AP) Disbursement?




 

Resolution: 

• An AP Disbursement is a manual check that is written to a vendor, and can show on the vendor reports.
• A Cash Disbursement is a manual check that is written to someone other than a vendor in Vision.

The only difference between the two is to whether the payee on the check is loaded into Vision as a vendor or not.
