Unable to delete billing phase groups

In Billing Terms > Fees tab > Phase Grouping, a specific Billing Phase Grouping cannot be deleted due to receiving the following error: 

Delete not allowed for Phase Groups in use within Billing Phases

Resolution: 

Make sure that the Phase Group is not selected under the Group column in the Billing Phases grid before deleting the Phase Grouping.
