Summary:	When and how does a new fiscal year get opened?
Description:	Resolution: When accessing Utilities > Open New Period, while in the last period for the fiscal year, Vision automatically prompts to open a new fiscal year. When opening a new fiscal year, the user should receive the following prompt. Warning-You are currently in fiscal period 12 of 12 for the year 20xx (current fiscal year). If you continue, you will open the first fiscal period for the year 20xx. (New fiscal year) To open a new fiscal year: Go to Utilities > Open New Period Under Current Period review the Accounting Period Dates and Fiscal Year Dates and compare to the New Period > Accounting Period Dates and Fiscal Year Dates. Select OK to open the new fiscal year.
