Can Expense Report Categories be deleted in Vision?
Resolution: 
Yes. NOTE: When an expense category is deleted, all historical information pertaining to the category will be deleted as well.  This means when an old expense report is opened, the category will be blank.  
  1. Post or delete any open expense reports where the expense category is being used or change the expense category on the expense report.
  2. Go to the Configuration > Workflows > Approval Workflows and pull up the Expense Approval Workflow being used.  Remove the expense category from the Expense Approval Workflow if it is being used in a Condition.
  3. Go to Configuration > Time & Expense > Expense Categories and select the group(s) that the expense category belongs to.  
  4. Click on the Expense Category row and click Delete.
  5. Click Save.
