How to remove Vision from a client workstation

Vision uses Microsoft's ClickOnce technology for the client application deployment. ClickOnce files are stored in a folder on the user's workstation. Follow the steps below to refresh the ClickOnce client.

  1. On the workstation with the issue, log out of Vision.
  2. Close all browser windows.
  3. Delete temporary internet files and browsing history.
  4. Delete the following client folders:
    •     C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0
    •     C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Local\Temp\Deployment 
  5. To reload the client, launch Vision again.
  6. When prompted, allow the client to reload, which will repopulate the ClickOnce client folder.
Note: This process will remove all ClickOnce files from the users application cache. If there are other applications on this workstation that utilize a ClickOnce client, the folders will not be able to be completely removed unless the other applications are closed as well.
