Description:

What rights or role security setup does an employee need to be able to un-submit Timesheets?

Resolution:  
Access to unsubmit Timesheets can be done on a System-wide Level, or access can be given on an Employee by Employee basis:
Option #1:  To allow ALL Employees to be able to make changes to submitted timesheets:  
  1. Go to Configuration > Time & Expense > Company Timesheets > Setup tab.
  2. Check the box to Allow Staff Users to Resubmit Timesheets .
  3. Click Save
  4. Log out and back in again for the change to take effect.
Option #2:  To allow only certain employees to unsubmit timesheets:  
  1. Go to Info Center > Employees > Time tab.
  2. Set the Timesheet Administration Level to System and check the Edit box 
  3. If this employee should only be allowed to unsubmit timesheets for certain groups of employees: 
    • Set the Timesheet Administration Level to Group 
    • Insert each Group whose timesheets this employee should be able to see.
    • Check the Edit box on each Group whose timesheets this employees should be able to unsubmit and edit  
  4. Click Save
