Is it possible to have a different billing rate for the same person on a project/phase depending on the task?
Description:
Billing Terms need to be setup on a project so that there are different billing rates for the same employee for different tasks (WBS3).

 

Resolution: 

Use a Billing Rate Table.

  1. In Billing > Billing Terms select the project.
  2. On the Sub-level Terms tab, check the box to enable Phase Terms.
  3. Select the Phase, and on the Sub-Levels tab, check the box to enable Task Terms.
  4. On the Labor tab, select a Method, Rate Table, By Category or Labor Code and enter the corresponding Rate Table. A different Rate Table can be selected for each Task, if needed. 
Note: Rate Tables can be setup in the Billing > Billing Rate Tables using Labor Rate, Labor Categories or Labor Code.
