How to enter values in the State/Province field

Problem

I am entering a new client with a Mexico address. For the State/Province drop down box it is empty when I choose Mexico as the country. How can I enter a State/Province. I tried typing it in but it does not allow me to do so.

Resolution

You will have to add to the State/Provinces Code Table.  It is located in Configuration -> General -> code Tables.

You first select the country and then you can enter the values you need.
