Users can consolidate dormant projects using the Project Key Conversion utility in Deltek Vision under Utilities > Key Conversion > Project. This will consolidate the information from the selected projects into the specified project number. However, it will not reduce the size of the database.

 

Note: Once consolidated, details of the various projects will still be there but consolidated under one project number and cannot be broken down into the previous distinct project numbers. If it is desired to see the original project detail at a later date, there is no undo capability. The only option would be to restore from a previous backup prior to the consolidation.
