  2. Vision displays the Confirm Password dialog, contact a Deltek Customer Care representative to get this password.
  3. Enter your password and click OK.
  4. The Table Description drop down will now show many more options. Select the option to be imported.
  5. In the From dropdown, select Text File.
  6. In the Input Table Name enter anything name desired.
  7. Now, go to the Text File Fields Mapping tab, select and arrange the fields so they are in the same order as they are in the text file. So if Column C is State in your text file, it would need to be in the third place from the top.
  8. Once all of the fields match the order of the text file, click Save.
  9. Click Validate, this will confirm to the system that it can find the text file, browse saved location of the text file.
  10. Click Import, browse to the saved location of the text file.
  11. Once this has completed, click Print Error Report. This will show exactly where an error is, if any, and what the error is for (i.e., Bad date format, missing vendor, etc.).
