1. Labor Code
Can be looked at as the lowest level of the Project whereas Labor Category is used to determine an Employee's default category billing rate.
2. Labor Category
Is a one to one relationship between the person, the category and the rate. The person is assigned to a category and the category is assigned a rate With Labor Codes it is a one to many relationship. The employee works using a labor code, and the rates are associated with labor codes so one employee can be billed at many different rates, depending on what service he is providing.
