Description:
How can a role be setup for a Project Manager so that they can only see their own projects in the Project Info Center but on timesheets, all projects can be selected? 

Resolution:

  1. Go to Config > Security > Roles and pull up the role for Project Manager
  2. On the Project line setup the Record Level View on the Access Rights tab to be Project Manager Number Is Me. This will restrict the projects that can be seen in the Project Info Center and all other lookups (e.g.. reports) to only those projects in which this individual is the Project Manager on.
  3. On the Accounting tab of the role setup, make sure that the Apply Project Access to Timesheet is Not selected.

Note:  This will allow the Project Manager to enter time to any project in the system.
