Vantagepoint can auto-generate a reversing file on a predetermined date and post it if scheduled. This option is mutually exclusive to a Recurring Entry.
  • Navigate to Transaction Entry > Transaction Center > Journal Entries and select + New Journal Entry File
  • Navigate to Other Actions > Make File Recurring.
  • In the Recurring Journal Entry window, under Reversing, select Reverse On option and set a Date. This Date determines when the reversing transaction file is generated. 
  • To not review the file before posting, select the Schedule Posting option. 
  • Specify the process server for the posting. It will post on the Date defined on the Reverse On step.
