Citrix Receiver – Available at https://www.citrix.com/downloads/workspace-app/ for Windows
Note: The Windows Store version is not fully featured and does not fully support printing/shared drive access and should be uninstalled by:
  1. Pressing Start
  2. Type Citrix
  3. Right-click the Citrix App icon
  4. Click uninstall.
MS Windows - Operating System 8.1, 10, or 11
Minimum Requirements:
  • 4GB RAM
  • Dual-core 2.0GHz or better
Recommended:
  • 8GB RAM
  • Intel i5 or i7 any speed
  • Solid-State Drive (SSD) for best performance
Internet bandwidth -
  • The fastest upload and download you can obtain. Upload is just as important as download.
  • A stable connection with good networking hardware (firewall/router/switch).
    • The Citrix Receiver tends to not perform well when there is packet loss.
Each Citrix session uses at a minimum 700Kbps constantly but could balloon to 3Mbps depending on the task and number of windows open. Deltek suggests using an average of 2Mbps per user as a benchmark to cover Citrix sessions and the rest of your normal workload and user streaming music, uploading and downloading large files, etc.
Example:
15 users X 2 Mbps = 30 Mbps down and at least 10 Mbps upload as a minimum.
A symmetrical fiber connection preferred, such as a 50Mbps/50Mbps or a 100Mbps/100Mbps or better.
