Here are some clarifying definitions to assist with Costs:
  • Estimated Cost is from Job Maintenance > Phases & Categories > Budgets
  • Actual Costs are costs that have posted through AP as invoiced transactions.
  • Committed Costs are anticipated, or a cost that will be incurred in the future but has not been invoiced to date.
  • Projected Cost is the Actual Cost to Date ‐ Projected Cost Remaining (from % Complete Report).
And with Contracts:
  • Original Contract ‐ From Job Maintenance > Phases & Categories > Contract Amount
  • Current Contract means Original Contract from Job Maintenance > Phases& Categories > Contract Amount total Plus Change Orders.
  • Estimated Profit means Current Contract ‐ minus Estimated Cost.
